Looking after your t-shirt
A little care goes a long way, and these are the small things that'll keep your t-shirt looking lovely for years.

Wash cold, inside out. Cold water is kinder to the fabric and the print, and turning it inside out protects the illustration from the rough and tumble of the machine.
Use a gentle detergent. Skip the bleach and harsh stuff — they'll fade the colour over time. Fabric softener isn't needed either; the cotton is soft enough on its own.
Expect a little colour on the first wash. Garment-dyed cotton can release a touch of dye the first time round, so keep it separate from anything pale or precious.
Air dry where you can. Hanging it out is gentlest on the fabric and helps it keep its shape. If you're using the tumble dryer, low heat only — and take it out promptly to save yourself the ironing.
Iron on low, and never directly on the illustration. If you need to press the design itself, turn the shirt inside out or pop a cloth over the top.
