Shipping policy

Everything you need to know about how Darling Twigs orders are made, shipped, and delivered. We ship worldwide to selected regions, with free shipping to all the destinations we currently serve.

We currently ship free of charge to:

• United Kingdom

• All countries within the European Union

• United States

• Canada

• Australia

These are the five regions where we work with local print partners, which means your order is made closer to home and arrives faster. If your country isn't listed and you'd like to order, please email us at hello@darlingtwigs.com — we may be able to arrange shipping on a case-by-case basis, though longer delivery times and additional costs may apply.

Shipping rates

Shipping is free on all orders, to all destinations we currently serve. There's no minimum order value and no shipping calculated at checkout — the price you see is the price you pay.

Free shipping is provided through our standard delivery option. We don't currently offer an expedited or express delivery option, although this may change in the future.

How orders are made and sent

Each Darling Twigs piece is thoughtfully illustrated and printed especially for you. We don't hold stock — your item is made to order locally through one of our trusted print partners.

Once your order is confirmed, it moves into production. This typically takes 1 to 2 business days, during which the design is printed onto the garment, the item is finished, and it's packaged ready for despatch. As soon as it ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

In the rare event that a specific size or colour is temporarily unavailable, we'll be in touch directly to let you know and offer either a swap or a full refund — whichever you'd prefer.

Delivery times

Total delivery time — from the moment you place your order to the parcel arriving — depends on where you're based. The estimates below cover production plus shipping for our standard delivery service:

These are estimates based on our average performance. Delivery times can vary slightly with carrier conditions, public holidays, customs handling, and seasonal demand (particularly around Christmas). We'll always do our best to set realistic expectations and to let you know if anything is likely to take longer than usual.

Tracking your order

Once your order has been despatched, you'll receive an email with a tracking number and a link to follow your parcel's progress.

Tracking information is provided by the carrier handling your delivery (Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, USPS, Canada Post, Australia Post, or local equivalents depending on the destination). Some carriers update tracking promptly; others can take a day or two to register. If your tracking information doesn't seem to be updating, please give it 48 hours before getting in touch — most updates catch up within that window.

Customs, duties and import taxes

Because we use local print partners in each of the regions we serve, our orders are produced and despatched within your country, which means no customs charges apply.

Multiple-item orders

If you order more than one item, your products may occasionally arrive in separate parcels — particularly if they're being printed at different facilities or in different sizes. This won't cost you anything extra. You'll receive separate tracking information for each parcel.

Lost, delayed or missing parcels

Most parcels arrive on time, but occasionally something goes astray. If your tracking shows the parcel as delivered but you haven't received it, or if your parcel hasn't arrived within the expected window, please email us at returns@darlingtwigs.com and we'll investigate with the carrier.

Depending on what we find, we'll either resend the item or refund you. Full details of how lost and delayed parcels are handled — including the timeframes within which to contact us — are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Damaged or faulty items

If your parcel arrives damaged, or the item itself is defective or different from what you ordered, please get in touch within 30 days. We'll replace or refund the item in full, and in most cases we won't ask you to send it back. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.

Incorrect delivery addresses

Please double-check your delivery address before completing your order. We rely on the address you provide and cannot be responsible for parcels delivered to an incorrect address that was entered at checkout.

If you spot a mistake immediately, email us at hello@darlingtwigs.com as quickly as possible. If production hasn't started yet, we'll do our best to update the address. Once production has started, we may not be able to change the destination.

If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incorrect or undeliverable, we'll get in touch to arrange a replacement at your cost, or refund you for the item (excluding any shipping costs incurred in the original despatch).

A quick note on patience

Because each item is printed especially for you, Darling Twigs orders aren't quite as quick as fast-fashion parcels from a warehouse — they're made the slower way on purpose. We think the considered, made-to-order approach is worth a few extra days. We hope you'll think so too.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our delivery network, partners, or available services. The date at the top of this document shows when it was last updated.
